Sarah Foster
MA, LM, CPM
Sarah is a Certified Professional Midwife and Executive Director of Tulsa Birth Center. She is a licensed midwife (LM) in Oklahoma and Texas, and holds a master’s degree in Maternal-Child Health Systems. Sarah trained first as a traditional midwife, starting in 2002, and has since served the local and national birth community in many capacities. She currently serves on Oklahoma's Midwifery Advisory Committee.
Heather Forrest
LM, CPM
Heather is a Certified Professional Midwife, licensed in Oklahoma. She has been attending births and teaching childbirth education classes since 2006. Two of her four children were born at home. Heather also serves the birth community as the current president of the Midwives Society of Oklahoma and as the secretary of the National Association of Certified Professional Midwives, Oklahoma Chapter.
Lydia Taylor
LM, CPM
Lydia is a Certified Professional Midwife who is licensed in Oklahoma and Texas. She has been part of the Tulsa birth community for many years, and has been providing midwifery care at Tulsa Birth Center since 2017. Lydia grew up in Tulsa and considers it an honor to serve the community and surrounding areas through collaborative, client-centered, and gender-affirming midwifery care.
Marina Andaluz
LM, CPM
Marina is a Certified Professional Midwife who graduated from the Midwives College of Utah and completed her clinical training at Tulsa Birth Center. She is currently awaiting approval of her Oklahoma Midwifery Licensed. Marina spent years as a labor and delivery surgical tech and chose midwifery care for herself, having two beautiful home births. She hopes to change the system by providing competent, holistic care.
Tori Caswell
PMUS
Childbirth Educator
Tori is a Primary Midwife Under Supervision (PMUS) and Childbirth Educator who is currently enrolled in the Midwives College of Utah. She has served as a doula and Le Leche League leader for many years, and now looks forward to serving in the roll of midwife. Tori teaches some of our childbirth education classes and assists with your care under the supervision of a licensed midwife.

Certified Doula
Sarah is a Primary Midwife Under Supervision (PMUS) and Doula who is currently enrolled in the Tulsa Birth Center Midwifery Training Program . She is passionate about bringing safe, compassionate care to women all over the world.
Christine Penick
Student Midwife
Christine is a Student Midwife who is currently enrolled in the Association of Texas Midwives Midwifery Training Program. She is more than half-way through her training and regularly provides expert assistance during prenatal visits and births. In addition to her midwifery duties, Christine works as a much-loved nanny.
Tameka Davis
Student Midwife
Certified Doula
Tameka is a Student Midwife and Certified Doula who is currently enrolled in the Tulsa Birth Center Midwifery Training Program. She is completed her doula certification though Tulsa Birth Equity Initiative (now Oklahoma Birth Equity Initiative) and is enjoying serving the community as a doula, and midwifery student.
Holly Harber
Lead Certified Doula
Birth Assistant
Holly is a Birth Assistant who has been helping mothers as a Birth Doula since 2003. Her skills include prenatal, birth, and postpartum support, breast feeding assistance, Spinning Babies positioning. Holly is certified through DONA and also provides doula services. She is also the coordinator of our doula services, so please don't hesitate to reach out to her for assistance.
Willow McCartney
Certified Doula
Willow, is a birth and postpartum doula, she offers assistance across diverse birthing environments. Her own experience of undergoing induction leading to a cesarean birth has ignited a commitment to aiding mothers. She extends her services to provide overnight support to parents in need of rest and guidance during the adjustment period with their newborn. Willow is offering her doula expertise to mothers who are covered by Soonercare, ensuring that every mother can have access her support.
Kari Claitt
Postpartum Doula
Educator
Kari is a childbirth educator, doula, and home organizer with over 17 years of childcare experience. She offers classes and packages for expectant and new parents, as well as overnight care. Kari has received hands-on training in newborn care, postpartum care, and breastfeeding, among other subjects, and owns an organizing and cleaning company. Kari aims to provide village care by mothering the mother. Let her be a part of your village and help with all your parenting needs.
Treva McClung, CPA Office Manager
Treva manages many administrative tasks at Tulsa Birth Center, helping to keep everyone on track and caught up. Before coming to TBC she worked as a CPA for 40 years, helping to keep one of the largest companies in the world, as well as several non-profit organizations, running smoothly. It is likely that it will be her voice you hear when you call with questions, or who you see at the front desk when you arrive for your appointment.e.
